Project Brief
This was a project that certainly put us under test not for design or development skills but tested our logics as a very complex algorithm designed by the client was to be custom coded for the application. It is a question based online assessment tool to bring immediate online psychiatric assessment, education and referral services.
Case Study
Logo, Caricature & Website Design – To represent the website with the medical prospective and at the same time make it user friendly, we were able to design a logo which was both appealing to users and at the same time represented the website ideally in Medical terms. Custom Caricatures were designed for the entire website to make sure the design remained interactive and appealing to users.
Algorithmic Questionnaire – This module is the soul of the website as it is very important to ask the user the correct questions right from the start as he answers his questions. A complex algorithm was custom coded to make sure right questions popup after each answer and; it was also ensured along-side that the question’s language was kept polite so that users do not get a feel of mistreatment down the road.
Online Assessment & Results – Users on this platform are kept from the hassle of downloading the test, answering the questions and then submitting it for the review. This platform allows the users for online assessment and answering the questions by just picking up the correct option. As a result, at the end of the assessment test, list of doctors specializing in the areas nearby the user are shown to facilitate him get the required care at the earliest.
Others – Some other features included in the website to make it a complete Psychiatrist recommendation platform were Clinicians registration and listing, Random username and password generation for the Users, Google maps for locations, etc. Clinicians on this website can create their profile by a simple registration process and list themselves on the website to get the prospective patients directed to them.
